Civil law disputes

Civil law disputes

In addition to representing parties in arbitration proceedings, civil law disputes before stately courts were the focus of my work as a lawyer. The procedures supervised often had a cross-border question and encompassed various industries and legal areas. The focus was on post-M & A disputes, distribution law including antitrust law, professional liability, long-term contracts, corporate law disputes, post-compliance, and mass proceedings. In recent years, I have increasingly dealt with process strategies, e.g. in connection with the representation of a large automobile manufacturer in connection with the "diesel issue". In my view, it is essential that litigators not only have very good knowledge of the facts and legal knowledge underlying the respective litigation, but are also able to take into account the court's recipient horizon. It is also important that the process representatives work closely in a team with the client's representatives.
